Setting Up Alerts

Tap Set Up Alerts on the Info tab to begin. The first time you set up alerts for a meet, you will see the Know Before You Go notice before reaching the event selection screen.

Know Before You Go

This notice appears once per meet, the first time you set up alerts for that meet. It will appear again when you set up alerts at a different meet.

The notice states that SecondCall is a supplemental backup tool designed to aid, not replace, official meet announcements. The PA system and official meet personnel are the primary sources of truth. SecondCall is not responsible for missed events or notification delays due to device settings, network conditions, or other factors outside their control.

To continue, check the box confirming you understand SecondCall is a backup and that the PA system is the official guide, then tap Continue. The Full Terms link opens the complete terms of service. The Continue button stays inactive until the box is checked.

After acknowledging the notice, you reach the Add alerts screen. Choose one of five options and tap Next.

Enabling Push Notifications

If you accidentally denied permission, open your phone's Settings, find SecondCall, and turn notifications back on.
