Incoming Requests

The Incoming Requests panel is your primary action surface on meet day. Every call request submitted by an official appears here in real time, in the order it was received. Each card shows:

  • The official's station name and how long ago the request was submitted
  • The call type and event name in large text
  • The pre-composed notification text that will go out to app users
  • Approve & Send and Dismiss buttons

Approving a Request

Each request card shows the pre-composed notification text that will go out to app users exactly as written. Read it over before you tap, and use it as your script for the PA announcement. When you are ready, make the call over the mic first, then tap Approve & Send. This sends the push notification to all app users subscribed to that event and clears the request from the queue. The official who submitted the request will see the status on their screen update to reflect that the call was sent.

Dismissing a Request

Tap Dismiss to remove the request from your queue without sending a notification. The official will see on their end that the request was dismissed. The call is available to be requested again immediately by you or the official if needed.

Returning to a Backlog

If you step away and return to a queue of aging or urgent requests, work through them in order. Approving a late request is still valid and will send the notification to subscribers. If the event has already run, dismiss the request instead.

Stale Requests

Each request is monitored against the escalation threshold your meet director configured during setup. If a request sits unanswered:

  • At 50% of the threshold, the request card is labeled Aging as a visual alert.
  • When the request ages beyond the full threshold, the card turns red, plays an audible chime, and is labeled Urgent. The meet director and any operations staff connected to the app will also receive a push notification at this point.

If you are connected to the app, you will receive push notifications at both the aging and urgent stages as well. See Getting Started for how to connect the app to your announcer code.
